Just This Farm Grass Fed Beef

Grass fed-beef, a lean and tasty treat, is available beginning December 2006. The heifers from Just This Farm:
   • are free from medications, growth hormones, or antibiotics;
   • provide numerous health and environmental benefits in
     contrast to their non-organic, grain-fed counterparts; and,
   • have been raised on certified organic grass and clover
      pasture (rotated regularly to ensure high quality grazing),
      as well as clean water, organic salt, and minerals.

Just This Farm offers packages of grass-fed beef that contain a mix of steaks, roasts, stew meats, and ground beef in the same proportion that they were available for the entire animal. Our short-horned heifers will be butchered the week before Thanksgiving; meat will be available in mid December, after aging for three weeks.

By the pound:
   • 15 pounds - $85   • 25 pounds - $135   • 35 pounds - $180

Sides of beef:
   • 1/8 mixed side (front and hind quarters, 40 to 60 lbs. of meat) at $4.95 per pound
   • 1/4 mixed side (front and hind quarters, 80 to 120 lbs. of meat) at $4.85 per pound.
   • Full side of beef (160 to 240 lbs. of meat) at $4.75 per pound
