Garlic Seed

Just This Farm grows two garlic varieties selected for their outstanding performance, yield, and vigor on the clay soils of the Midwest. Both varieties grow well in cold climates and store for six months or more without significant deterioration.

Music Garlic

This a porcelain hardneck variety that has performed very well on our Ohio clay soils. It is very vigorous and consistently produces large healthy bulbs. 5-7 cloves per bulbs.

Extra Hardy German Garlic

Also known as German White, Extra Hardy German has been the mainstay at Just This Farm for over nine years. Slightly smaller than Music, but very similer in its hardiness. It usually has a few more cloves per bulb than Music. 6-9 cloves per bulb.

Both varieties:

• have nine month storage
• are cold hardy and disease resistant
• have a smooth, rich, taste
• yield very large bulbs
• like all hardneck garlic varieties, produce an edible seed scape (flower stalk) during the bulbing period, which is delicious to eat and adds another marketable product
